We finally got around to finishing the redecoration on the boys room. Samuel LOVES planes - especially fighter planes and talks about being a pilot all the time so he really wanted his room decorated with planes. We ordered the propeller several months ago and Chuck mounted it on the wall. It took awhile to get around to painting, but here's the finished product.
I think Chuck did an amazing job with this! I usually have an idea and a vision of what I want done and then Chuck comes up with a way to make it happen. I told him he was quite the artist to which he told me he wasn't an artist, but he was really good with spatial visualization (love the engineer speech!).
These are the pictures I'm having printed for the walls. I wanted them to have a vintage flavor. A funny story about the pictures. A few weeks ago when we went to Bountiful the number one thing on my list of things we needed to do was go to the Air Force Museum so we could get the boys dressed in these flight uniforms and take pictures. We always get moving really early so we got to the museum when it opened. And just our luck the kids area was not open until later in the afternoon! I have to thank Chuck that he was willing to haul all the kids back to the museum later that day just so his sometimes crazy wife could get her pictures.
